Favorite Instrument:
“I would have to say the voice, so predictable I know, but honestly it amazes
me how the vocal cords work, how something so natural can create such a
spectrum of sound; it’s capabilities to produce so rich of emotion so discretely
and powerfully. The more I learn the more I’m fascinated.”
Why She Enjoys Teaching Music:
“I enjoy teaching music because I genuinely believe in the positive effects
music has on one’s life. It’s a universal language that allows people to relate to
one another no matter what their background and circumstances. Music has a
power that is unlike any other, it can heal people, alter one’s state of mind and
allow them to feel and understand the indescribable; I love being part of that.”
Why Music Is A Passion:
"I’m passionate about it because I cannot imagine a world without it; I love
preserving the music that has stood the test of time, learning music of other
cultures and creating new music.”
Musical Inspiration:
I’m inspired by music itself, at how many different kinds there are and they are
all beautiful in their own right. More personally speaking, I listen to a lot of
classical, indie, jazz, folk and rock music, but I’m also inspired by sacred
music and various music created by cultures around the world.”
