Class Description: An introduction to dance for the youngest dancers. Classes are structured to stimulate coordination and listening skills, balance, music interpretation, creative movement and motor development in the youngest dancers. Class Description: Students in our beginner movements class will learn to focus on creative movement, basic tap and jazz skills, and beginner technique and dance etiquette. It is a class that focuses on novice steps but also places emphasis on dance as a fun and healthy activity. Class Description: Each class will start off with a warm up, move into a large range of styles, specific moves and techniques. Each class will be taught dances that have been choreographed by the instructor. The children will learn basic hip hop steps in the first few weeks and from there we will move into learning a few short dances. At the end of each class we will do a cool down! There will be a final perfromance/recital at the end of the 6/7 week session with date to be announced. Melissas only rule....."Let's have some fun!!"
