Favorite Instrument:
"Drums, percussion and rhythm have always had an unbelievable pull on me.
The wide variety of voices, the dynamic range, the power and physicality of
playing the instrument and the application to all music genres make drumming
a fantastic way to express oneself musically, to me, head and shoulders above
the rest!"
Why He Enjoys Teaching Music:
"I enjoy a great feeling of satisfaction through my teaching practice. To be able
to earn a living molding young drummers into monster players, watching them
grow and absorb styles, challenges in coordination, understanding through the
rhythmic format I employ, well there's just nothing better"
Why Music Is A Passion:
"Very Good Question! I'm not sure honestly, all I know is from a very young
age it's all that run's through my brain, from the time I wake until bedtime
there's this constant flow of music running through me"
Musical Inspiration:
"'Late 70's early 80's it was Phil Collins, Bill Bruford and Alan White..along with
all the NY Fusion giants. Then came Neil Peart, Simon Phillips, Phil Ehart and
these day's it's Carter Beauford, Shannon Larkin and Gavin Harrison."
